Although Shawn and I are busy New Yorkers, we had a hard time nailing down a weekend my parents and sister were free to hang with us for a weekend in Minnesota. When they had some cancellations or something last weekend we jumped at the chance to be seen with them out and about in Central Minnesota. Seriously.
Wine and food that couldn’t be described as “skinny” or “lite” are consumed frequently with my parents, so we made sure to stay active over the weekend by biking and hiking, and I made sure to get in a 30 second swim just to make up for the pie I had for breakfast on Saturday morning. Seriously.
