I grew up in the competitive world of Minnesota figure skating, and therefore not only can I say I once landed a double salchow, I also have a “thing” for all things sparkly, shiny, etc.
I therefore love metallics, even when they aren’t on a figure skating costume – they are basically the socially acceptable form of wearing shiny clothing before 5:00 pm.
