My mom is pretty transparent when it comes to likes and
dislikes, whether she knows this or not (Hi Mom!).

But this is a good thing when it comes to gifting or just “browsing”
together. I know she detests polenta but loves those crackers that cost $5 and
are made of seeds. Her wardrobe requires zero cap sleeves, nothing above the knee,
and patterns are worn few and far between (a sailor-inspired stripe will sneak its
way into my mom’s wardrobe, but that’s about it).

She loves anything yellow, anything with beaded trim, large
clutches that fit EVERYTHING, fragrances that smell like a tropical fruit
salad, and pajamas made of fancy cotton.

She’s the best and deserves everything (except polenta of
course) – here’s a few Linda-ish items I think she and any other woman would
love for Mother’s Day.
