Do stellar egg sandwiches make you want to pretend importance in a crop top? If so we could be great friends. While in Venice, CA I wanted to wear a casual outfit, eat a casual breakfast, and seem…casual.
Shawn and I spent the a good hunk of our time wandering Abbot Kinney Boulevard (in the Venice area) while in L.A. last weekend. There we felt like locals (the whole street seemed very “Brooklyn”), ate at Local 1205, and shopped for cake stands that I knew would never fit in my suitcase.
If you are in the L.A. area Abbot Kinney is the cool place to feel like a local, even if you are just pretending.
