The biggest thing that happened to me last weekend was that I cut five big inches off my hair. I haven’t had considerably short hair in over a decade, so the change feels needed, nice, and dare I say light? I recommend this to everyone. Does the shorter cut flatter my face? Not really. Is the short hair thing definitely a trend that I pounced on? Absolutely. But do it. Everyone at work will be like “whoa…do you like it though?” and you’ll just say “I was desperate to lose a few pounds and this was the first step”, and if you’re lucky they’ll laugh or tell you how you seem so in shape, both good things.

Last weekend I also had a BBQ/Buckhunter get together, I holiday house party, and I started watching AHS Asylum on Netflix to fill the void of Shawn being away in Vermont. All good things, except the Shawn out of town part.
