Did you know that this last October in New York was the hottest on record? It was! That’s why I was able to fully wear a tank top and zero socks (and black overalls) around our hood a few times last month, which I was really into. I’ve had these overalls for over a year and they are crazy comfortable and make me feel a bit cooler when I where them, in the way I would imagine Alexa Chung feels all the time. I can’t find the Levi’s ones I’m wearing online anymore, but I think any black overalls will do! I had a zillion pairs in the fifth grade but never in black so these somehow feel appropriate in my 30’s the way a blue denim or pink denim or purple corduroy or a cream pair wouldn’t (thank you GAP kids of the 90’s!)

 One other thing, I got these suede Puma’s free at an event and was like “oh, sure, nice…”. How have things changed. They go with everything (!?) and are totally comfy and to round everything out I also had a pair in the fifth grade…but in black.
