I log plenty of hours on my couch watching not-brainy television (Pretty Little Liars, The Bachelor, House Hunters, etc.) and occasionally brainyish television (Girls, Gilmore Girls, Mad Men, House of Cards, etc.)

Sometimes, however, I step away from decently very good-looking Chris Soules and the absurdly gorgeous Shay Mitchell and spend a contacts-free weekend afternoon reading and sipping tea in our perfect-to-me bed. The bedding was a wedding gift, we bought the bed with our co-op, and reading the Style section of The New York Times makes me feel more adult-like and inspired to dress less for me and more for Bill Cunningham. Did I mention I get to wear leopard slippers instead of winter boots?

I love the weekend.
