Last weekend felt like the last weekend of fall – the
weather was perfectly crisp and the trees just shy of their orange-hued expiration date. I gravitated to the color-of-the-season, and wearing bright orange around Brooklyn felt a bit off in a good way, as I noticed everyone and their dog (seriously) wearing black and grey sweaters. I love (LOVE) wearing black, grey, white, beige…but sometimes it’s nice to represent both the fall foliage AND the official color of hunting season. |

I saw this on the Midwest pin board and haaad to come over and see more. I was always a fan of that bright shade- I feel like J Crew always kills it with their unexpected winter colors. And when I visited NYC last year I was shocked at all the black everywhere. I mean, movies led me to believe it was a city of intense creativity. Wearing a leather jacket and black jeans aint all that creative 😛

Such a great color! This is a great casual fall outfit! Although it's feeling more like Winter in the Midwest!
