Brooklyn Bachelorette

My sister threw me my Bachelorette party over the weekend! We kept it local
and had (almost) all the fun in Brooklyn. We stayed at the King and Grove
hotel, took full advantage of their I-can’t-believe-this-is-in-NYC pool, took
over their rooftop for cocktails, naughty presents, and an ultra-naughty cake.
We kept with the Brooklyn theme and had pizza for dinner, to the L into the
Manhattan where I attempted to out-dance EVERYONE, and then swam off our “leftover
Saturday evening” in the pool Sunday morning.

My white sequin shift dress has
been a go-to for YEARS. The dress is unusually as durable as a pair of hiking
socks. I put it in the washing machine. My gold shoes are go-to Lauren by Ralph
Lauren but those may have gotten “danced to death” over the weeksn.
I’m lucky to have so many great friends that now get to know my other great
friends! Getting excited to plan Marena’s bach for this fall!

Shawn surprised me with the most beautiful flowers!

Shawn’s take: Even if what happens in
Brooklyn does indeed stay in Brooklyn, it really doesn’t matter as that’s our
home base. He knows I was well(ish) behaved.
