Basically-Free Beachwear

New York City in the summertime is a nightmare for dry-clean only anything. Every day, every piece of clothing worn must be washed because waiting for the Q train when its eighty-seven degrees a few times a day can be really gross. Going to the beach is no different, just add sand and sunscreen residue!

Therefore I really don’t believe in “investing” in anything beach-related (except I did buy a Beverly Hills Hotel beach towel for $96 at the Beverly Hills Hotel and I’ve used it once – #noregrets)! I love buying loads of cheap swimsuits, cheap jean shorts, even cheap sun hats that can get sweaty, lost, ruined in the wash, whatever. As long as an item can be easily replaced for under $25 I’m in!

Juliette’s swan swimsuit here is $12, and my neoprene one is $20! I’ve linked some of our other sweat-worthy beach picks below! Enjoy your summer the way I like it – hot and wallet-friendly.

I am with you on not paying too much for swimwear. Though I do want to be sucked/held in so there is some balance. 😉 You all look so cute in these!
