Shawn
and I had our (most successful ever!) party on Friday as part of the Sochi
Olympic Opening Ceremony that doubled as Shawn’s 31st birthday. The
food, company, my new gold tunic, and the Russian Roulette drinking game all
worked out perfectly. Other weekend highlights include my gorg gifts Shawn
brought me back from his business trip to London (a pink Harrod’s mug and Pink
Champagne Truffles that are to die)
and our trip to the ballet. This is all capped off with Shawn’s birthday dinner
last night at Vinegar Hill House in DUMBO where I had spaghetti with bacon,
walnuts, and mint as an entrée. The combo was just right and I intend to
attempt making this soon.
