Family Hiking Trip in Boulder

I’ve made it perfectly clear I have a history of being anti-hike. It always seemed far less interesting than going to brunch for example. But then I met Shawn (who is from Upstate New York and loooovvveesss hiking) and we started slow on some short hikes where he let me eat all of the M&M’s in the trail mix. Fast forward to 2017 and Shawn is begging me to take a family trip to Colorado so we can all hike together. I said yes!
We stayed in the sickest Airbnb in Boulder, rented a toddler-carrying hiking backpack, and hit the (easy) trails. We even got a friend of a friend of a coworker to find us a babysitter for a night out!

Juliette loves hiking just as much as I do, meaning we keep the hikes under 3 hours, pack plenty of snacks, and go for a killer lunch after. If you’re looking for a relatively low-key family trip, Boulder was really kid friendly, beautiful, the Denver airport is really nice! Let me know if you’re going because I have a babysitter to recommend 😉
